Sudbury Broadcasting Group in Hope , Arkansas , including stations KHPA, KTPA, and KXAR, is seeking
applicants for the position of FM Morning Show Host/News Reporter on KHPA-FM 104.9 Super Country 105
The primary duty of a Morning Show Host is to handle on-air and production duties during the morning shift on a licensed FM broadcast station. Additional functions include writing, voicing, and producing commercials, conducting live and recorded interviews, attending remote station broadcasts, covering events like board meetings to gather and write news stories, and assisting with maintaining the radio station’s website and online presence via social media outlets such as Facebook.
Prior broadcast or recording experience, excellent communications skills, thorough understanding of audio editing applications, broadcast automation systems, and MS Office software is required. Previous sports play-by-play experience would be beneficial, but is not required. This is a full-time position, but is not limited to a set schedule so applicants must be flexible to cover events outside of normal working hours. There is no relocation offered for this position.
