JONESBORO, ARK. (Nov. 9, 2016) ---- The American Red Cross serving Arkansas has postponed its 5K walk/run to honor veterans and active duty military members in Jonesboro, Ark. scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 12, according to Chapter Executive Director Pam Knapp-Carver.
The event had been scheduled to take place in conjunction with the Jonesboro Veterans Day Parade. Knapp-Carver explained the event has been postponed due to conflicts with military members and veterans who were participating in the parade itself.
The 5K walk/run will be rescheduled sometime around Memorial Day, 2017, Knapp-Carver added. She thanked everyone who registered to participate in the event, and urges them to re-register when the event is rescheduled.
